Justin’s Greatest Hits
There is not enough room on this comment page to address all Justin’s disastrous decisions, (apparently we address people in Ottawa by their first names now), so I will keep it to the most recent SNC-Lavalin circus.
Quebec Premier Francois Legault was quoted stating, “I want to do all we can to protect this headquarters and protect the thousands of good, well-paying jobs we have at SNC-Lavalin.” Legault also said SNC should pay for its alleged crimes, but its employees and the province’s economy shouldn’t suffer as a result. He said that in discussions with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, he has asked, “Can you settle as soon as possible in order that we keep those jobs? We need those jobs.” Justin is quoted as saying, “We take very seriously our responsibility of standing up for jobs, of growing the economy, of making sure there are good jobs right across the country as there are with SNC-Lavalin.
But as we do that, we always need to make sure we’re standing up for the rule of law and protecting the independence of our justice system.” Really? Aren’t these the same people who have done everything to block Alberta pipelines, hurting this province and the people who work here? Legault and Justin are desperately trying to save their own people, and their own jobs, while purposefully hurting Alberta’s oilpatch employees and Alberta’s economy.
This is one of the most shameless examples of public hypocrisy that I have ever witnessed. Justin needs to remove his head from where the sun doesn’t shine, (not so sunny ways) and start doing the right things for the entire country, not just where he has a large voting base. The arrogance Justin has displayed and disregard for Alberta’s people and economy is obvious and is utterly reprehensible.
I, and many others, can only hope that this dreadful, poor excuse for a human gets voted out at the next federal election.
