ou can help support Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada just by having some ice cream in August and September.
During Baskin-Robbins Canada’s Make it Amazing campaign, you can opt to add $2 to make your ice cream “amazing” — with a dipped or fancy waffle cone and fun topping — and $0.31 will be donated to local Boys and Girls Clubs.
“We care deeply about our roots in the communities we serve,” Natalie Joseph from Baskin-Robbins Canada said in a statement announcing this year’s fundraiser. “Helping to support an organization that does so much for young people is an honour, and it represents how we intend to grow in Canada in tandem with the communities in which we live and that we serve.
“As a former member of a Boys and Girls Club myself, I’m proud to see Baskin-Robbins leading this initiative.”
Baskin-Robbins Canada is hoping to raise $25,000 for Boys and Girls Clubs after-school programs.
“We couldn’t be happier to work with Baskin-Robbins Canada,” Owen Charters, president and CEO of Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada, said in the statement. “This is our second year working with the brand and its Canadian team, and we’re thankful for the continued support they and their guests have shown us and our work. Campaigns like this one allow our organization to fund programs that help kids attain their full potential.”
