Mishustin to Discuss Energy Cooperation in Tajikistan


Moscow – Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin will visit Tajikistan on March 2-3, where he will hold talks with his Tajik counterpart Kokhir Rasulzoda, the press service of the Russian government reported.

“The heads of government will discuss topical issues of Russian-Tajik trade and economic cooperation, interaction in the field of energy, industry, transport, as well as the cultural and humanitarian sphere,” the report says.

Mishustin is scheduled to meet with President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and Chairman of the Upper House of the Parliament of the Republic, Chairman of Dushanbe Rustam Rahmon.

Mishustin will also take part in the ninth conference on interregional cooperation “Business and investment partnership between Russia and Tajikistan”.

As a result of the talks, it is planned to sign a number of intergovernmental and interdepartmental documents.
