Russia is Not Going to Attack The Kharkov Region. ISW Map

Russia is not going to attack the Kharkov region.

Analysts of the Institute for the Study of War came to this conclusion.

They note that the Russian Federation is mining the border northwest of Kharkov, and the formation of offensive groups is not recorded.

This kind of fortification of the Russian troops suggests that preparations for the restoration of the offensive in this sector are not underway, analysts say.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Institute of the Future named the possible timing and direction of the Russian strike . The most likely directions are called a strike through the Kharkiv and Sumy regions and from the territory of the Zaporozhye region along the Dnieper. With a possible goal – Poltava or the east of the Poltava region.

And in the Rada they named the likely direction of the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and announced what was needed for it.

The war in Ukraine has been going on for 372 days. We follow the news on March 2 in our online .

Earlier we summed up the results of the 371st day of the war . At night, there was an attack by “Shaheds” in Ukraine, all four drones were shot down over the Poltava region. The Armed Forces of Ukraine warned that within two days the enemy could carry out a massive missile attack. The Ukrainian Institute for the Future reported that the Russian Federation could launch its new offensive in the first half of March or in May-June.
