Tajikistan and Russia Signed More Than 20 Agreements in Dushanbe

Companies of Tajikistan and Russia signed more than 20 documents on cooperation in industrial, scientific, technical, energy, educational and other areas during the conference on interregional cooperation “Business and investment partnership between Russia and Tajikistan”, which is being held in Dushanbe on March 2.

Among the signed agreements is an agreement on the joint production of antimony and on the study of raw materials and rare metals between specialized companies.

According to the organizers of the forum, the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan signed an agreement with the Russian Luch complex, the administrations of Khatlon and Sughd regions agreed with the Penza region on trade and economic cooperation.

In the field of transport, a document was signed on the creation of the production of trailers.   

The Dushanbe-based Smart City enterprise has signed an agreement with the Eurasian Investment Agency and the Synergy Corporation for the implementation of digital projects in the capital of Tajikistan.

First of all, Smart City innovations will affect the areas of intelligent transport system, digital housing and communal services, healthcare and education.

The conference continues its work, a plenary session will be held tonight with the participation of the Prime Ministers of Tajikistan and Russia.
